I have been studying with Darien for over three years in Petaluma California. Working with Darien consistently 2-3 times a week, has given me a practice of discipline and rigor that has not only helped my body but my mind. It is truly a practice that she offers us to support each person exactly where they are at. Darien plans the classes that offers diversity yet never compromises the integrity of Joseph Pilates work. Each time I show up for class, I know I will get an excellent class that continues to challenge me. I am dealing with a compromised knee and some neck/back degeneration and doing Pilates regularly, with Darien, has helped strengthen my weak areas by building a strong core. At the end of each class, I still say,"That was hard class!" I am so grateful to have Darien Gold as my teacher.
